Our Annual General Meeting will provide an update of the associations activities and status over the past year, leading committee members will provide an update on their areas of responsibility, status and progress.
The meeting will elect the Association Committee for the next year (2026/2027), Further agenda items will be discussed including future events, ideas, and a charitable donation.

-Meet a First World War Sapper, learn about his life in the trenches, see his equipment and get a real feel of the day-to-day life of a soldier in the trenches.
-Journey back to the Home Front, learn about the Blitz, evacuation and what happened on VE day.

Meet a WW2 Bomb Disposal Officer, learn about the tools of his trade, advancements in bomb technology throughout the war and what he did day to day.
-Watch as the incredible model tanks (courtesy of Southeast Tanks Scale Model Club) come to life and drive around the museum. Perfect for history buffs, model enthusiasts, and families looking for a fun and educational experience!

Meet a Napoleonic Sapper, see a showcase of the tools of his trade. Hear how sappers were responsible for building fortifications, bridges, and roads, often under the harshest conditions and enemy fire. See how to load and make ready a musket and, if you’re lucky, he will show you how to fire it.
